Skills, Tests, Achievement, Recognition – this is what STARSkate is all about! Skaters who have completed the 6 badges in the CanSkate program move on to STARSkate as their next step.

Starskate offers opportunities for skaters of all ages to

continue to develop fundamental figure skating skills in the areas of ice dance, skating skills, free skate and interpretive skating. It is at this level that skaters require private

coaching to take Skate Canada Tests as well as entering local competitions. Skaters who have mastered figure skating skills

in STARSkate may also choose to pursue synchronized skating or pairs skating. All of our coaches are NCCP certified and offer expertise in freeskate, dance and skills.

STARSskaters also have the opportunity to participate in our Youth Skater Leadership Program where our more experienced skaters assist with out Pre-CanSkate and CanSkate Programs.  The time spent assisting in these programs may be used for highschool community service volunteer hours.
