TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • Registrants for all programs must pay in full with the submission of the registration unless during Fall and Winter when payment installments are allowed.

  • The Elora & District Skating Club has the right to change or cancel any program for which there is insufficient paid registration. In the event of any program change or cancellation the registrants will be offered a full refund (or pro-rated, as appropriate).

  • Safety/Security:

    • The Elora & District Skating Club has the right to remove a skater and/or parent/legal guardian from the session and/or program for inappropriate, abusive and/or dangerous behavior on the ice.

  • Privacy Release Form:

    • As per the PIPEDA, (Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act) the Elora & District Skating Club would like to assure you that any information collected regarding the enrolment and payment for you or your family members will be kept private and confidential, and used only for its intended purposes.  All information will be stored in a secure manner in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act. The Elora & District Skating Club at no time will sell, lend or give your personal information to any group or person.

  • Communication:

    • As part of the online registration process you are required to provide a valid email address and complete accurate mailing and phone information. You agree that for up to one year, the Elora & District Skating Club, can send you club related information regarding registration, no skating days, program cancellations, club news and other relevant information.

  • Inclement Weather:

    • Our sessions are based on 10 weeks lessons.  Due to anticipated inclement weather cancellations, we build in where possible, in the winter session, 1 or 2 additional weeks of lessons.  However, we cannot control the weather and we do not have access to additional ice for make up sessions.  Unfortunately, because the Club still has to pay for ice, even during cancelled sessions, we do not provide refunds nor makeup sessions.

REFUND POLICY

Cancellation of session or program days, in full or in part, is non-refundable once registration has been processed and the season is less than 15 days from starting. Prior to 15 days before start of the season only program fees, fundraising and Skate Canada fees can be returned, NOT base fees. In the case of an Elora & District Skating Club approved non-retroactive medical withdrawal, program credits or refunds for medical reasons will be issued upon receipt of a Medical Doctor’s note, on a pro-rated basis taking into account the date on the medical note or an accident report form. Letter must be provided to the office on the first day of the injury and a letter for returning back from the doctor for the last day. Any proration applied takes effect after a 2 week waiting period and applies to program fees only.
